Arctic Restoration Specialties, Inc. was founded when two snowmobile restoration enthusiasts met at a vintage snowmobile auction. They swappped stories and quickly became good friends. Both spoke of having trouble in the past finding good quality parts for their projects, so they decided to produce their own.

Sleds that the team entered in snowmobile rallies and swap meets won numerous awards. People took notice and began asking where they could get the parts the two had used. Arctic Restoration Specialties, Inc. was born.
